Full moon in July "The whole year has a full moon of July" is a famous saying of the people of Nghe An. On this day, the people of Nghe An province everywhere are bustling to welcome the full moon, worship the full moon, and eat together, creating an extremely warm atmosphere of "return to the source". Before the full moon day, usually on the afternoon of 14th July, family clan's members and relatives come to the cemetery to burn incense for the deceased, and "invite" ancestors and relatives to come back the workship hall and family hall to reunite. Depending on the customs and beliefs of each rural area, each place has different customs such as: In Yen Thanh, for generations, people have kept the custom of bringing the tray to worship as in the past. On the full moon day of July, worshiping the full moon day at home is an important ritual of every family.
