HOA TIEN COMMUNITY TOURIST SITE - QUY CHAU

Hoa Tien village, Chau Tien commune, Quy Chau district has 350 households, is one of the places that still preserve many unique traditional cultural values. It is a pure ancient Thai village, with a tradition of hospitality, keeping many unique cultural features such as the architecture of stilt houses; brocade weaving; Can wine culture; folk songs, folk dances (nhuôn, xuối, lăm, khắp, khắc luống) …).

         The people in Hoa Tien  village have inherited the Thai cultural space from the Tham Bua Festival from ancient times to the Hang Bua Festival. After 18 years, the Hang Bua Festival has affirmed its position in the hearts of tourists, with cultural and sports activities such as: crossbow shooting competition, throwing arrows, pushing sticks; write Thai characters; spinning silk, weaving brocade; incense roll; show national costume; annual beauty pageant. Hoa Tien village is also home to many artists "Keeping the soul" of Thai folk songs. In the past years, there have been many groups of foreign tourists visiting Hoa Tien village, they often sleep in stilts houses, eat the dishes of villagers, participate in entertainment activities and production activities with the people here.

        In 2014, People's Committee of Quy Chau district had a policy to develop community tourism in the village, which is a joy but also a challenge for the people of Hoa Tien village. Therefore, in order to serve tourists well, with the support of the district, management board of Hoa Tien village selected 10 families to visit and study in Lac village, Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province; Nua village, Yen Khe commune, Con Cuong district, Nghe An province, to learn skills to serve tourists.

        Next, the locality organizes training, assistance and professional guidance on tourism for people such as: organizing training courses on skills and experience in tourism business; tourguide; ways of understanding and approaching tourists' activities and attitudes. At the same time, strengthen propaganda, promotion, and development of linkage plans to attract visitors, mobilize capital and resources from all economic sectors, encourage people to invest in the field of accommodation services, activities to serve tourists.
