Sen village relic cluster, a place attached to President Ho Chi Minh in his childhood (1901 - 1906)
Sen village relic cluster - President Ho Chi Minh's paternal hometown, where Nguyen Sinh Cung lived with his family from 1901 - 1906 and also the place of honor to welcome him back on June 16, 1957 and December 9. 1961. This relic cluster includes the following relic units:
House of Associate Doctorate Nguyen Sinh Sac: The house was built with public funds by the people of Sen village as a gift to celebrate on the occasion of Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac's position as Associate Doctorate, including the following items: main house, horizontal house, gate, yard, garden, with a total area of 4.93 perches in Central Vietnam (about 2500m2). This is the living location of four people including: Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, Mr. Nguyen Tat Dat and Mr. Nguyen Tat Thanh (the names of two brothers of President Ho Chi Minh when they returned to live in Sen village).
The main house donated by the village consists of 5 compartments. The outer compartment is the reception area. The altar of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan was in the second compartment and later became a common place of worship for the whole family when relatives died one by one. The remaining three compartments are the resting place and activities of 04 people. In particular, this house was also the meeting place of confucian scholars, patriotic strong-willed scholar such as Phan Boi Chau, Vuong Thuc Quy, Dang Thai Than, Dang Nguyen Can... Discussions of dignitaries He was carefully listened to and pondered by young-boy named Thanh (usually his father invited him to stand beside him), he listened carefully and pondered, which made a big contribution in choosing the path to save the country in the future.
The horizontal house was built for me by my half-brother, Nguyen Sinh Thuyet, on the occasion of “Vinh quy bái tổ" (Honor to pay homage to the ancestors after passing the exam). In the house, there are still many valuable objects, such as wooden counters, beds, food chests,...
After more than 50 years of trying to find a way to save the country, even when his brother and sister died (Nguyen Tat Dat died in 1950, Nguyen Thi Thanh died in 1954), he could not return to burn an incense stick. On June 16, 1957, President Ho Chi Minh had the opportunity to return to his hometown, visit his home, and reminisce about past memories:

Năm mươi năm ấy biết bao nhiêu tình”.

Exhibition Area - President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Hall: In 1964, the Party and State advocated to build a guest house in Sen village to serve the country's compatriots and soldiers every occasion to visit Uncle Ho's hometown. After President Ho Chi Minh's death, Kim Lien Museum was established to preserve and display his invaluable heritage. At the same time, Nghe An province decided to build the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House to meet the sentiments of compatriots, comrades and tourists from all over the world visiting in his homeland. The house was inaugurated on the occasion of the 80th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1970) and has undergone many renovations and embellishments. The structure consists of 3 wooden halls: Workshiping hall is used as a place to display some souvenirs, where the delegations prepare to perform the ceremony. Two lef and right halls display documents and artifacts about President Ho Chi Minh's homeland, family, childhood and his two visits to his hometown.

The house of Mr. Nguyen Sinh Nham, paternal grandfather of President Ho Chi Minh: where Nguyen Sinh Sac and his family lived for a long time. This is also where his brother - Nguyen Tat Dat took his last breath.
The great veneration lineage hall of the Nguyen Sinh family clan: It was built in the first year of Tu Duc (1848), on the land of the family's incense.
The house of Bachelor Vuong Thuc Quy: this is where Nguyen Tat Thanh and his brother studied after returning to Sen village to live (1901). On both visits to his hometown, he asked about the family of Mr. Vuong Thuc Quy.
Co Dien forge: where Nguyen Tat Thanh often went out to play, helped Co Dien in his spare time and witnessed many stories of the lost country, broken house.
Coc well: This is where Nguyen Tat Thanh helps his sister get water for the family's daily life
Chung Mountain: This is the place where when he was a child, Uncle Ho and his friends often went to herd buffalo, fly kites, and fight fake battles. Currently, there is more Chung Son temple, restored Dat pagoda and Thanh Ca temple worshiping General Nguyen Dac Dai.
Banyan tree, Lang Sen Stadium, Lang Sen temple: these are the places associated with his childhood and two times Uncle Ho returned to his hometown (1957 and 1961).
Carrying out the project of preserving and embellishing Kim Lien relic site in association with tourism development, 06 neighboring households in Hoang Tru and Sen village have been restored, and great veneration lineage hall of Hoang Xuan family clan is also undergoing procedures to put it into the complex of Kim Lien relic site.
In addition to the above two clusters, the President Ho Chi Minh memorial site in Kim Lien also has the tomb of Hoang Thi Loan and the tomb of Mrs. Ha Thi Hy in Nam Giang commune.
Tomb of Mrs. Ha Thi Hy (President Ho Chi Minh's paternal grandmother): Mrs. Ha Thi Hy was born in the Year of the Jia Horse (1834), in a family of studious farmer. In 1862, she married Mr. Nguyen Sinh Nham and gave birth to a son named Nguyen Sinh Sac (father of President Ho Chi Minh). Three years later, Mr. Nguyen Sinh Nham died, Mrs. Ha Thi Hy also suddenly died when she was 32 years old, her body was buried in Con Than, Dong Sen, Chung Cu commune (now kown as Kim Lien commune). In 1941, Mr. Nguyen Sinh Khiem brought his paternal grandmother's remains to Dong Tranh mountain in Dai Hue range, Huu Biet commune (now known as Nam Giang commune). Mrs. Ha Thi Hy's grave has now become spacious after many restorations and embellishments.
Every year, Kim Lien relic welcomes from 1.5 to 2 million visitors, including high-ranking delegations of the Party and State and international delegations; It is considered as one of the relics about President Ho Chi Minh with the largest number of visitors in the country.
The Prime Minister signed Decision No. 548/QD-TTg on May 10, 2012 ranking President Ho Chi Minh's memorial site at Kim Lien commune (Nam Dan district, Nghe An province) as a special national relic.
