7-STOREY WATERFALL ASSOCIATED WITH HUA MUONG COMMUNITY TOURISM
7-storey waterfall is located in Hanh Dich commune, Que Phong district, Nghe An province. The Waterfall is deep inside the Pu Hoat Forest, on the Huoi Dan stream originating from Laos. The waterfall complex stretches about 7km with 7 large aquifers and thousands of different small cascades. Therefore, it is called a 7-storey cascade.
To reach this place, tourists have to trek 10km with local guides, climbing the top of the head to zoom in on the entire 7 storeys of the waterfall. Seen from above, Huoi Dan stream flows through Pu Hoat forest, down the cliff like a majestic white dragon, shining in the thousands of water droplets, creating an awe-inspiring feeling of pride, making the tourist want to let out a long howl that makes the whole universe shudder. There is also a fall as soft as white silk, wrapping around hundreds of years old tree trunks, densely covered with moss and mistletoe, creating glamorous ink wash painting.

Long Thang village was merged from old Na Xai village and Hua Muong village. Mainly Thai people live here. Since ancient times, people here mainly live in stilt houses and still preserve the original stilt house and some other artifacts such as brocade weaving, etc. Along with attractive local food such as: grilled fish (Onychostoma laticeps), Ho moc (Cake made from rice and filled with fish or meat, wrapped in banana leaves), Ot soup (soup made from rice, shiitake, chicken and prickly ash) and wild vegetables with sauce. Some traditional customs and habits of the Thai people such as: drinking straw liquor, singing the love song with melodies such as Nhuon, Khap, Lam and Lam Vong dance. This place also preserves brocade weaving, knitting, etc. to serve tourists. Besides, in 2018 the Thai folk music and dance club was recognized as a provincial cultural model, which is also a very favorable condition in tourism development.
