PU NHA THAU FESTIVAL Pu Nha Thau Temple Festival takes place from 25 -:- 27January every year and is considered one of the unique festivals of the West of Nghe An province, which attracts a large number of ethnic people in the region and tourists from all over in Nghe An province and border provinces of Lao PDR. Pu Nha Thau festival takes place with rituals: inauguration ceremony, confession feast, procession ceremony, great sacrifice ceremony and thanksgiving ceremony. The festival took place excitingly with cultural exchange activities, national costume contest and folk games imbued with national cultural identity (pull tug, stick push, long throw, crossbow shooting, ..). This is an opportunity for ethnic minorities in Ky Son district to practice spiritual rites, entertain and prepare for a new production season, thereby preserving and promoting the national cultural identity.
