PEDESTRIAN STREET OF VINH CITY

The pedestrian street of Vinh city was officially operated on April 8, 2022 with the aim of creating a tourist highlight for the city, contributing to attracting tourists and creating entertainment and entertainment points for the people. The pedestrian street is open from 19:00 to 23:30 every Friday and Saturday night.

This is the first pedestrian street of Vinh City with a length of about 1.5 km, including 3 sections as follows: Ho Tung Mau street (from Cau Nai to the beginning of Nguyen Trung Ngan street) is 430 m long; the section at Nguyen Van Cu street (the first point intersects with Ho Tung Mau street, the end point at Le Hong Phong street) is 500 m long. The rest is Nguyen Trung Ngan Street (from the beginning of Lane 2 to the intersection of Nguyen Van Cu Street) and the section at Nguyen Tai Street (the intersection of Ho Tung Mau Street to the intersection of Nguyen Van Cu Street).

The reason Vinh City chose these 3 routes to operate the pedestrian street is because these 3 routes are located in the central area, next to Ho Chi Minh Square. This area has hundreds of food, fashion, art and entertainment establishments that are convenient for visitors to eat, drink and play.

Along the streets located in the pedestrian street, visitors can easily encounter groups of artists or young people performing with different styles and genres of music. The scene of people standing together and singing to the music comfortably in the middle of the street without having to avoid traffic is becoming one of the most beautiful images in Vinh pedestrian street. Perhaps, this is also one of the things that makes pedestrian streets attractive, and Vinh pedestrian street is no exception.

In particular, at Ho Chi Minh Square, the water orchestra of nearly 1,000 square meters is shimmering with colors, creating a highlight for the pedestrian street space. The Water Orchestra is inspired by the legend of "One hundred eggs hatch one hundred children", showing the origin of dragons and fairies from the time of Father Lac Long Quan and Mother Au Co, in order to honor the solidarity of the Vietnamese nation.

The water orchestra is arranged with 236 nozzles combining led lights and music spraying technology, of which there are 100 main nozzles representing 100 eggs, the height of the water columns is from 3-20m with many eye-catching colors, changing flexibly. The orchestra is equipped with leakage current protection relay to protect the system safety in case of electrical leakage, anti-phase reverse relay.

Hopefully in the future, Vinh pedestrian street will develop further, so that whenever it comes to Nghe An and Vinh city with friends from all over the country, city people will have more pride when talking about a "cultural-tourist specialty" about specialized streets, helping Vinh City develop more and more, worthy of a large urban area, the center of the region.
