NGHE TINH SOVIET MUSEUM

Nghe-Tinh Soviet Museum was established in Vinh city on January 15, 1960 and became a branch of Vietnam’s Revolution Museum in 1987.

 This is a museum in the type of historical event souvenir, one of three earliest established museums in the Vietnamese museum system. Over the years, Nghe-Tinh Soviet Museum has collected many valuable artifacts: collection of red self-defense weapons, Soviet drums, raised and concealed to protect the Party, Uncle Ho and Nghe-Tinh Soviet... In particular, this is the only museum whose preface was recorded by President Ho Chi Minh on February 3, 1964. The system of 10 galleries in the Museum is scientifically arranged and divided into different themes according to historical developments. Nghe-Tinh Soviet Museum was recognized by People's Committee of Nghe An Province as a local tourist destination according to Decision No. 6188/QD-UBND dated December 21, 2017.
