DONG THANH ORANGE FARM - YEN THANH

Dong Thanh currently has about 80ha of oranges, of which, there are over 50ha of oranges for harvesting from the first to the third and fourth crop, the average yield is 21-22 tons/ha, the current selling price is 45,000 VND/kg of grade 1 and VND 35,000/kg of grade 2. Revenue is around 36 billion VND, an average income of 700 - 730 million VND per hectare. The price of the seedlings is not low from 20,000-25,000 VND/tree. 

Dong Thanh oranges are as delicious and fragrant as Xa Doai oranges, so they not only attract customers in the district and province, but also buy and sell by many traders in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City..

Surely one day not far, orange trees will change the face of the people of Yen Thanh rice countryside, there will be many billionaires who grow oranges on their own rice fields. The economic efficiency of this model is the attraction for people to boldly invest and replace inefficient rice fields.
