BUDDHA'S BIRTHDAY

Buddha's Birthday (Celebrating Buddha's birthday) is an opportunity for fellow Buddhists and those who love Buddhism to turn their hearts and minds to live according to the Buddha's teachings, to meditate together on the peaceful message of the Buddha, promote knowledge - morality, compassionate spirit taught by the Buddha.

In harmony with the joy of Buddhists everywhere, from 09-:- 15 May every year, pagodas in Nghe An province solemnly held the Buddha's Birthday.

Before the day of the great ceremony, the pagodas gathered young people and Buddhists to redecorate the temple premises, plant national flags, Buddhist flags, hang banners and slogans, set up a ceremony stage, practice arts performance, decorating flower carts to process Buddha, setting up Lumbini garden…

The official ceremony program at the pagodas took place in a dignified and pure atmosphere with many rituals and activities with bold Buddhist colors such as burning incense, offering flowers to the Three Jewels, performing arts and praising the Buddha, proclaiming the message of the Buddha's birthday, the Buddha's birthday, chanting a soul song, bathing the Buddha, freeing living beings...

In addition, the pagodas have also organized many charity activities, giving gifts to poor households, policy families, poor studious students, and difficult patients at hospitals...

On this occasion, Nghe An province also sent many delegations of officials to visit, give flowers to congratulate Buddhism in districts and pagodas in the province, praise and acknowledge positive contributions to local movements.
